Review: The angular crunch of 2003’s Black Cherry was somewhat of a surprise for many, following the folktronica of Goldfrapp’s debut. Supernature takes the electropop of that follow up, and camps it up to 100. It’s a wonderful album, where dance beats mix with tongue-in-cheek lyrics, and poppy melodies are cast alongside atmospheric synths. This was Goldfrapp’s first foray into the upper reaches of the charts, and for good reason — it’s great!
